We Partner with Skilled Local Tailors to Craft our Pieces.

When we started VE-VA, we were a self-funded business and we didn’t want to invest heavily in setting up a tailoring unit right away. Instead, we began by working with one local tailor for sampling and production.
It wasn’t an easy start — there were communication gaps, missed deadlines, and challenges with maintaining stitch quality. But one thing we were always clear about was fair and deserving pay.
I remember spending hours with our tailor, fine-tuning each sample until it matched what I had envisioned. Being a non-fashion student made the process even more challenging, but with the support of our master tailor, we managed to bring our first collection, The Originals’, to life.
Today, we proudly say that we partner with multiple skilled local tailors, helping create better livelihoods for them along the way.
I still remember a conversation with one of our master tailors — he told me he missed his hometown and wished he could go back. That simple, honest thought stayed with me.
So, we decided that when VE-VA grows, we want to create a space where all our partnering tailors can work from wherever they wish — a place that connects their craft with comfort, and their livelihoods with home.
